WAXING

Waxing is only offered during your facial appointment.

A high quality, Vegan friendly, delicate wax that is good for sensitive skin. Followed by an organic oil to calm redness and irritation.

ATTENTION: We offer limited waxing services; waxing services we offer are listed below. If the service you want is not listed then the Spa does not offer that service.

WAXING PRE AND POST CARE

PRE- WAXING:  (preparing for your waxing appointment)

Please read the following considerations:

It is important to avoid the sun for three days before or after a waxing session. 

Waxing will not be performed if you have been taking Accutane within the past eight months.

Waxing will not be performed on areas with skin irritations, open sores, or cold sores.

We recommend waiting to wax your face for at least two weeks after receiving a chemical peel, IPL, Laser treatments, or a Microdermabrasion treatment. ( For Laser, Deep Peels, IPL treatments, Micro-needling, or any treatments that are aggressive or invasive, please check with your doctor or technician as to a time frame for when you can be waxed after receiving any of the services mentioned above.)

We recommend avoid waxing for one week before and after the use of ( non-prescription mild strength )all retinol products, mild glycolic acids, alpha hydroxy acids(AHA fruit acids), and beta acids. For Retin A and all prescription strength or stronger formulations, discontinue for 2 weeks prior to waxing area.

Please inform the Esthetician of any medical conditions or of any medications you are currently taking.

Waxing will not be performed if you are currently on Antibiotics, or Corticosteriods ( such as Prednisone )or have recently been on Antibiotics or Corticosteroids. Please wait a month or longer for stronger dosages before waxing. Check with your doctor as to the appropriate timing for waxing.

Please refrain from applying any creams, oils or self-tanners immediately prior to a waxing session.
